Guaranteed Seating is Here!

Have you heard the news? C&J launched guaranteed seating on our buslines on June 28, 2022. From this moment forward, you’ll always have a reserved seat* on your bus—no more waiting in line and hoping there’s enough room.

You can now book your trip in advance to ensure you get your preferred travel time. But don’t worry—you can always change your reservation if your travel plans change. The easiest way to do so is to log into your C&J account, but you can always call us to change your reservation.

How Does Guaranteed Seating Affect Me?

If you’re a frequent C&J rider, you may find that guaranteed seating makes your life a bit easier. We all have schedules to keep, and if you can’t get on the bus you need, it could affect your whole day. But if you can book your seat in advance, you can be certain you’re getting where you need to be, when you need to be there.

While we always encourage people to book seats in advance, we recognize that doing so isn’t always possible and that plans change. You’ll still have the flexibility C&J riders have come to know and love. Standby seats aren’t going away—but if you crave the structure of a guaranteed seat, consider that craving satisfied!

What about Commuters?

The way you buy your commuter pass has not changed, but how you access it and how it works does with our reservation system.The good news is that our changes won’t affect your regular commute. In fact, the changes we’ve made should make your life easier.

As of right now, commuters can take advantage of the following improvements:

• Access to their pass and all reserved rides in their C&J account
• Make ticket changes online for free prior to their departure time
• Save tickets in their Apple or Google Wallet for easy access

How Do I Change My Reservation?

The easiest way to change your trip is to create a C&J account; everything will be saved in one place (including your payment information), so it’s a breeze to make adjustments.

However, if you don’t have a free C&J account, you can still change your reservations as a guest. You’ll need your confirmation number to make any changes.
