C&J will transport up to three (3) items per passenger underneath the coach, with each item meeting a combined size limit of 62 inches (length + width + height), to ensure equal opportunity of space for all passengers onboard.
Any items beyond this quantity or size will be subject to space availability. If you are traveling with more than three items and have questions about your upcoming trip, contact customercare@ridecj.com.
Assistance is available for passengers with disabilities with loading and unloading luggage, mobility aids, and other essential items. Medical equipment and mobility aids (e.g., wheelchairs, scooters) are not subject to the baggage limit or weight restrictions. If a bag or item exceeds the size or weight limits due to a disability-related need, accommodation will be made to ensure the item is properly handled.
Assistance will be provided for items that do not pose a risk to C&J staff. We strive to meet the needs of all passengers and ensure a comfortable travel experience.
For Logan Airport passengers, C&J provides complimentary luggage tags, which are color-coded by drop-off terminal. Using these tags helps the driver load and unload luggage efficiently at each stop. Agents/drivers in our Dover, Portsmouth ,and Seabrook terminals will have tags available prior to boarding.
C&J does not recommend placing fragile or breakable items under the coach, as items may shift during travel. C&J is not liable for items that are damaged during transit.
In addition to your checked luggage, you may carry on one small bag along with a personal item such as a handbag or a briefcase. Carry-on bags must be able to be stowed in the overhead compartment or under a passenger seat.
