How do I use C&J Key Connect?

Using C&J Key Connect only takes a few extra minutes.

When leaving your vehicle:

1. Arrive at any C&J terminal

• Dover
• Portsmouth
• Seabrook

2. Park in C&J's gated parking lot

• Park in any available space.
• At the entrance gate, select the Paper Parking Ticket option and keep the ticket with you – you’ll need to give this to a C&J Customer Service Agent prior to your departure.

3. Remember where you parked
Before heading inside, take a photo or make note of your vehicle's exact location. You'll need to share this with your authorized pickup person.

4. Remove any valuables
Please remove all valuables from your vehicle before leaving it. Vehicles are self-parked and left at the owner's risk.

5. Visit the ticket counter
Tell a C&J Customer Service Agent you'd like to use the C&J Key Connect.

You'll complete a short form with:

• Your name and phone number
• Your vehicle information (make, model, color and license plate)
• Your return bus date (if applicable)
• The name and phone number of the person authorized to pick up your vehicle
• You will be given a claim check number to pass on to the authorized pick up person

6. Leave your keys with C&J
Our team will securely store your keys until your authorized pickup person arrives. Keys can only be retrieved at the terminal where the vehicle was parked at. Key drop is limited to 30 day limit.

When your vehicle is ready to be picked up:

1. Visit the ticket counter
Let our Customer Service team know you're picking up a vehicle through the C&J Key Connect.

2. Provide the claim check number to the agent

3. Present your photo ID
We'll verify that you're the authorized pickup person listed on the form. Owner must call from the phone number on the form or come to the counter in person.

4. Receive the vehicle information
Once verified, we'll provide:

• Your vehicle keys
• The parking ticket
• A parking map showing the general location of the vehicle

5. Find the vehicle
Use the location information provided by the vehicle owner, along with the parking map, to locate the vehicle.

6. Exit the parking lot
Use the parking ticket to pay the parking fee at the exit gate before leaving.

If someone is dropping off your vehicle for you:

The same process allows a trusted friend or family member to bring your vehicle to a C&J terminal while you're away. They can leave the keys with C&J so your vehicle is ready when you return.

Important Information

• Standard daily parking rates apply ($4.50/day).
• Only the authorized pickup person listed on the C&J Key Connect Form may collect the vehicle.
• A valid government-issued photo ID is required at pickup.
• If the authorized pickup person changes, the vehicle owner must contact C&J. Any changes must be verified and approved before keys can be released.
• Please remove all valuables before leaving your vehicle. C&J is not responsible for theft, loss, damage, pre-existing damage, snow removal, or the contents of self-parked vehicles.
