What are C&J's Ticketing Policies?

All C&J tickets are non-transferable and must be used on the selected date and time of travel. The ticket policy is defined by the ticket origin/destination and ticket type.

NYC Tickets:

Reservations are required for service between Dover, Portsmouth, Seabrook, and New York City. Passengers can make reservations online at www.ridecj.com.

Tickets are non-transferable and must be used on the selected date and time of travel.

All NYC rebooking requests must be received prior to the scheduled departure time by managing your reservation FREE online or by contacting the C&J Information Center at (603) 430-1100. There are no fees to change your reservations online. All phone rebooking requests are subject to a $5 per-passenger fee.

If a reservation is not used on the date and time specified on the ticket, the ticket is void and non-refundable.

Reservations are required for all C&J service. Passengers can make reservations online at www.ridecj.com. Tickets are non-transferable and must be used on the selected date and time of travel.*

*We at C&J understand the need for flexible travel, so we offer a 24-hour grace period after your trip’s departure to still use or rebook your ticket!

All Boston rebooking requests must be made by managing your reservation online or by contacting the C&J Information Center at (603) 430-1100. Passengers can reschedule their trips up to 24 hours after the time of departure and tickets may be used for the next 24 hours.

There are no fees to change your reservations online up to the time of departure. All phone rebooking requests are subject to a $5 per-passenger fee.

If you do nothing to your reservation and you miss your originally scheduled coach, you may ride standby for any C&J coach within your destination points for the next calendar day. Please note standby does not guarantee you a seat. We always recommend rebooking whenever possible.

If a reservation is not used within the 24-hour grace-period, the ticket becomes expired and is void and non-refundable. Refunds are available on non-expired tickets depending on the ticket type.

A $5 per-passenger refund fee will be applied to all tickets regardless of the ticket type (excluding 10-ride passes and Airport Employee tickets, which are non-refundable). An expired or used ticket is not valid for a refund or transportation.

You can initiate a refund of an online purchase by contacting the C&J Information Center at (603) 430-1100. Tickets purchased at a physical C&J terminal can be refunded directly by the agent on duty.
